Melissa Ehlert-Traub is a multi-talented executive whose vast experience covers a broad spectrum of areas. From starting her career as a young Director at a Fortune 500 computer firm, to growing a multi million dollar marketing firm of her own. She has also ran a public pharmaceutical company based in London as the President and CEO.  Her entrepreneurial spirit lead her to begin importing a vast array of products from Asia in 1991, and eventually controlling over 60 factories with 4 local offices in the region supporting the growth.  She used these products to fuel her marketing firms unique platform with various pharmaceutical companies. To date, her firm has launched 67 of the most recognized brands in the industry, and her ideas helped change and shape the standards of effective pharmaceutical marketing. Over the years her firm also developed an expertise in media, and has successfully navigated the everchanging web and social spaces as well as traditional print and TV and social spaces. Five years ago, she embarked on an additional venture in residential and commercial design and construction.  She has completed multiple projects from the ground up, including one in Germany. Her love of travel, and admiration for beautiful design and architecture lead her to begin this new venture.  Proving it is never too late to try something entirely new, Melissa has been involved on several boards at the University of California, Irvine including the Foundation and Athletic directorships. She is married to Michael Traub, CEO of Serta Simmons Bedding, and is the proud mother of 4 children, a blended family. Her 2 children are currently attending university, her son at University of California, San Diego studying Human Biology, and her daughter is at Brown University studying Business Entrepreneurship and playing Varsity Volleyball. The two younger girls still attend high school.
